Default Invidia test pipe

I was thinking about buying the pipe for new with the CEL fix included. But I have no idea how it works and if it's actually effective. I have a 00 S2000. I'd only be using the pipe for track use.

I have a hook up on a local used one for cheap...but it doesn't come with the CEL fix. Is this something I can buy for cheap elsewhere?

I heard something about a spark plug anti fouler at autozone for $5 or something? What's that all about?

Thanks guys!

**Edit: Just googled how to make a home made CEL fix. Easy sleazy. My questions then would be:

Does it fit and does the CEL actually stay gone on S2000s? I have a 00.

I bought one with the CEL fix already. Save your time without having to mess with it. You can buy the 2 spark plug anti foulers, drill one out and screw them together. Then just screw one end into your test pipe and your 02 sensor into the fouler. There is pics somewhere how to do it. It just tricks the computer so the CEL doesnt come on. Here is a pic with the foulers on.

Cool so it does fit and work and everything with the autozone CEL fix trick.

I have a deal on a local 70MM invidia test pipe for $35. The defoulers only cost like $5 from what I'm told.

They have the cel fix on ebay for 10 bux i think..it works by sitting the sensor further away from the hollow pipe so the sensor wont sense as much air flowing through the pipe as if it was being blocked by the catalityic converters "honeycomb"

I am rocking CEL fix (spark plug DIY) on my MY01, which has same ECU/factory tune as your MY00...no CEL's at all! The spark plug defouler trick works really well for our ECUs. the later models are more sensitive though, so they dont work as well. I love the TP.. little louder, but the KN intake drowns out the sound anyway. I'd suggest buying a used O2 sensor so you dont have to continually swap it back and forth if you're set on keeping the stock cat for DD.

Had my Invidia test pipe installed along with the FIX for close to 70,000 mi. Never a CEL. Also the test pipe itself has not cracked or rusted at all. I have a '01
