hey guys names jhonny and i have a prob dumb question but i would like some answers thanks ahead of time. Well my question is has anybody ever experienced a check engine light after you have installed your invidia test pipe with cell fix? reason i ask this is cause mine arrived this morning and i went ahead n put it on pretty sure i did everything right but for some reason its throwing me a check engine light is this normal?

 

I never did with mine... usually it's the 06+ cars that see a CEL even with the CEL fix, it is just hit or miss sometimes though with test pipes. If you have the CEL fix installed correctly, you shouldn't be throwing a check engine light. Try reseting the ecu.

When I had my invidia on it didn't throw a CEL, after switching over to a berk, my CEL came on. After a CEL light fix and ECU reset it still stayed on. I gave up and kept driving my s2k, on the sixth day my CEL just dissapeared and havn't given me any problems since. Reset the ECU, give it a few days and cross your fingers. Good Luck

 

ok but driving around with the check engine light wont hurt anything right dumb question i know but its my daily til i get my new car so just making sure

 

Driving with the CEL light should be OK, the only thing I can guess of as far as getting hurt would be the environment. Its only a metal pipe, alot of ppl drive with the CEL light on, then when the government ####s us over(inspection, tax)we switch it back to stock, then vice versa afterwards.

i got the invidia tp w/ cel fix made in, my cel came on.

i just did the 2 spark plug antifoulers and havent had a problem since

 

i have a 06 and the invidia 70mm testpipe with celfix...and i threw a code after the cycle..but im gonna put a anti fouler to extend it a lil more
