but if you can get a good tune, you get improved throttle control and more midrange power

Honestly it seems like ITB's are more of a sex appeal and sound mod than actual race mod. Sure they give you mid range but its more of a status symbol and show mod. If you want N/A power you have to go all the way, not just one part. You have to build a machine. One cog (ITB's) wont do it alone.

You can't deny that ITB's aren't a bad performance enhancer for an NA build...not that there is a lot more power to be found in this car NA.

ITBs need some serious modification and planning to be effective. It's not just a simple bolt-on part.

first of all, people who don't know squat need not contribute their opinion.
ITB's give incredible throttle response and torque at lower rpm's close to that of a first stage FI set up.

all you need it's engine management to tune them.

There is an official ITB's thread, I suggest the OP go there for more info. Naturally aspirated forum will have it I think.

^^
Have you looked at a TWM dyno chart? They aren't worth much at all. There are much better brands that make ITB's worthwhile.

I agree with the above, but I wasn't saying that these ITB's in particular ake huge differences. but I have seen dyno's of some ITB's that make me wet my pants so it's not fair to shun them. They will be my next big engine mod.
