Default iVTEC gives s2k 100whp bump

all from memory at this moment....

just read it in my magazine (import tuner i believe, don't have it on me, the current issue) and DesignCraft Engineering is designing a bolt on kit to convert the s2k engine to have iVTEC like the k series. their prototype has increased a measly 13 whp peak horsepower but a whopping 100 whp at 4k rpm and 130 ft/lb of torque at 4k.

so, if this goes through, our f20's won't be torqueless anymore

i looked at both the design craft website and import tuner and have not found a link for the info, but i'll keep looking...

Didn't he quote power gains like that on a FI application? I thought he said it'd be closer to 30-35 on a NA app. I find it seriously hard to believe 100 hp midrange. If it were true, he could sell that kit for like 5k and ppl would still buy it.

definitely doesn't sound like a gain obtainable for N/A applications.
