J's Racing 60RS exhaust - full review

90db is rough. We have a track out here (AMP) that has a 94bd limit and a lot of people can't run it. There are several stock vehicles that can't pass sound. My Greddy SE with Berk HFC tripped 91.4db- I would hate to have to attempt to pass 90.

quick update... just got back from laguna seca at a 90db event. i asked for a sound check on the first session and they measured me at 88 decibels! just under the limit. that's at full throttle going up a slight hill around 70mph in third gear.

the rattle i had at first was because the exhaust sat too close to the rear subframe and was coming in contact. i adjusted it to get about 1/2" of clearance and it doesn't rattle now.

update: the low hanging fitment of the exhaust tip has been driving me crazy. it just doesn't quite look right with that big of a gap under the bumper. i finally went to an exhaust shop to see if they could adjust it somehow.

after:
looks perfect to me now! after looking it over the only good solution the shop could come up with was cutting the exhaust a few inches behind the muffler and rewelding it at a higher angle. it made me a little nervous but they did a clean job of it and let me place the exhaust exactly where i wanted it before they welded.
the tone is the same but i swear it sounds slightly louder now. my girlfriend noticed it too. obviously the angle has changed but it's also a solid inch shorter. either way it sounds flippin' great and still very happy with the exhaust.

That would've bothered me as well, looks way better now! My 60RS fits perfect compared to the bumper exhaust holes.
I'ts a dual system though, but the angle is the same I think. Probably because the facelift bumper has more curves and sits a bit lower, I don't really know but I didn't have to adjust anything.
