j's 70rs on ap2?
I hear mixed reviews about the fitment of the J's 70rs fitting on the 2006+ ap2's. From what I understand, as long as you are okay with removing the factory rear tie bar it should fit just fine..? Any feedback or info would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Andrew

I don't know if the 70rs is like the 60rs, but there's a thread with good pictures showing why a 60rs won't fit on a 2006+ AP2. That thread is what made me give up on the 60rs. Sorry, I don't have the link handy.
EDIT: Woops, if you're ok with losing or dropping that rear tie bar, then there may be a way to make the exhaust work. That thread I mentioned above with the pictures will show you what interferes and where.

I have the 60rs on my 06 & there are fitment issues.
1) from the cat back, the piping is rubbing against the bottom frame which makes a vibrating nosie on the interior console. Not that noticeable if you dont have anything in the console, put some coins in there & it is VERY annoying.
2) it hits the rear tie bar, i guess you could remove it so it doesnt hit it but i guess it defys the purpose of having a rear tie bar...
3) the way its angled i guess from rubbing against the bottom frame, the tip hits your bumper & melts your bumper a little.
