Just bought my s2000

problem is that the previous owner molded or maybe bondo the j's half lip and its fiber glass. i want the car to be stock look wise.

another member told me that a shop can full the lip off and clean the bumper for cheaps

question is: Is that possible?

should i just buy a stock front bumper and spend the money to get it painted and everything.

anybody body got a suggestions??

 

Buy a new or used bumper. It will cost more for the work to be done right. Never trust cheap and body work in the same sentence. That is what someone did with the bumper you have...cheap body work

If you like the J's lip, I purchased a full urethane bumper for around 350-400, but I had it painted as a favor so I did not have cost there. The full bumper looks good to me. Found mine on ebay, but it is not a J's. I say if you must replace it, find an aftermarket and change the style a little. This just depends on your taste and budget.
