Js racing 60rs fitment issue
Hey guys
My it had my 60rs for a while and did all the things to make it fit a ap2 properly or so I thought. After I put in a tp and got rid of my stock cat it started rattling. First on part of the frame so I hammered it in a bit more and pushed it down with an exhaust strap. But now it settling on the cross bar by the diff (already grinded previously to fit it stock).
Tl;Dr The struggle I'm having is that no matter which way I move the exhaust it will rattle on something.
The solution I could think of is.
A. Cut the tp and see if I can maneuver it in a way it'll rest like stock.
B. Cut the 60rs between pieces and rotate that piece so the rest of the exhaust will move.
C. Sell it and cry in a corner and buy a exhaust that doesn't look or sound as good to me.

I had the 70RS on my 06 with the same issues. Wrap about 1.5 feet of the piping before the resonator with header wrap doubling the wrap. Use SS exhaust clamp to hold it in place. Then use the same wrap with a separate piece for the piping by the rear sub-frame and then wrap that section too. This should fix your rubbing issues. I run the exhaust for 2 years with no problems after doing those things. Best of luck man.

I kind of know what you're talking about but by any chance do you have a picture also? Are you using the clamp to hold down the wrap and using the wrap as a wedge and medium to dampen the hard on hard contact?
