Default J's Racing 70rr vs Berk TP Headerback

Hey all, so I'm currently looking into an exhaust and have narrowed it down to two. I'm interested in these mostly for weight savings but their power is great too. My interest is in those that either own one or have heard both and can compare them.

I really like the clean look of the berk, but like the additional savings in weight the J's offers. Unfortunately the picture displayed online for the 70rr (Evasive,GoTuning) is not what the actual exhaust looks like and it has a silencer hole . I also can get the berk for just about half of what the J's costs shipped. A considerable amount of the decision is what they sound like however, which I have no reference for other than crappy youtube videos.

So for those of you that own these exhausts, can you tell me what you like about them and what benefits they offer/ describe their sound (I realize both these exhaust are loud which is OK). Thanks for your input!

You won't notice the "weight saved" between the two, what size are you getting? Whats your current set-up?

J's does have a silencer hole like 90% of the exhausts out. Not sure what that has to do with making a decision though.

I haven't heard a berk header back in person since no one around me has it. But if you are going to get the 70rr get titanium. Nothing sounds as mean as a titanium exhaust especially on the s2000.

My buddy has the 70rr and that bitch is so much louder than my 70RS. Which is why I would recommend the RS depending on what noise level you deem tolerable. The RR literally is a race exhaust, it has no resonator or anything to muffle it other than a canister at the end.

But the weight savings alone in the J's is ridiculous. My exhaust was like 12lbs, the RR is like 10lbs.

What a s2000 spec J's exhaust looks like.

The J's is like 10-15 pounds lighter which is a lot even if I dont "feel it". And I'm stock right now, these are bothe headerback exhausts with only a canister at the end, one is 70mm and one is 75mm

I can't by any means afford the titanium and idk I just feel like the tip of the J's doesnt look clean with the "burnt tip" and silencer hole

I have the Berk Header back. I went with the Berk because of the 3" piping instead of the J's 2 3/4" piping.

I love how both exhaust sound. I just went wit 3" to help make more power.

My AP1 had a j's 70rr when I bought it and it was crazy loud but it sounded orgasmic. Nice and deep with no rasp anywhere. There is a titanium one for sale for 1000 shipped on s2000 classifieds on facebook. You might want to check it out if you're willing to buy used

It's way lighter than the stock dual.

Trust me, with NA power it WONT make much difference and you won't notice a weight difference between the two. I helped a friend install is J's a day after I installed my Berk. I owned the Berk and loved it, only reason I departed from it was that I got too much attention
