Default J's racing 70RS Dual Install question

The guys at evasive told me that when I receive the exhaust I have to take a "19 mm socket and put a dent in the exhaust somewhere to make it fit properly"

Does anyone have this exhaust or know where I have to put a dent into it?

Test fit it to find where it touches. I'd try to use different rubber hangers first, seems like a shame to purposely damage a very expensive exhaust. While it won't affect performance, it'll put a dent in resale value.

exhaust tunnel is different between model years 00-05 and 06+

like the other guy said, you'll have to test fit to see where you need to make it fit. if you don't, the exhaust will just rattle against the frame i believe... at least that's what my friend's j's 60rs single did in his 07.

Ya when I got that email I was a bit disappointed that I would have to do such a thing

I won't have the exhaust til it ships ( 2-3 months) but thanks guys for getting back to me!

i haven't heard the dual... but, i've heard the 60rs single with a cat. it's just as loud, if not quieter, than test pipe + stock exhaust with removed resonator, which isn't loud at all.
