Default J's Racing Diffuser - how well does yours fit?

Hi guys,
I found a local J's racing diffuser(replica) in used condition for a pretty good price. Overall its in good shape but, when I did a quick check to see how it fit I noticed that the sides stuck out. My car has never been in an accident and it is the OEM bumper. Anyone else have one like this? I'm wondering if maybe it will get drawn in once bolted up. Being fiberglass Im going to guess no.

If anyone has a replica can you please comment here?

Who made yours?

How did it fit?

Any modifications needed?

How is it holding up?

From the rear it doesn't look so bad...looks good

85% of replica J's stuff is bad fitment, Deffo with Polyester things, if you want te keep it you have to deal with the bad fitment

If it was abs plastics, you could bend it with the love of a heating gun

I'd probably try to zip tie the tops to pull them in so you dont see the gap at all or create mounting points on the inside to pull them in...

Most aftermarket parts don't fit perfectly and or people will hide the imperfections when taking pictures.

Basically your problem is unique and you must find your own solution.

The last thing I plan to do is modify my stock bumper to fix this, maybe I can try to pull them in but being fiberglass...I dont think this thing will move much. I understand aftermarket parts arent perfect but when you see a 1" gap inperson and then see everyone else with a close to perfect diffuser, either people are modifying them and not saying or this one is really out of whack.

I would really love for someone who has this currently installed chime in a share a picture of it up close.
