Default Js Racing Exhaust AP2 Fitment

Just ordered a single 60rs. I am aware of the fitment issues for MY 06+. Some of the solutions included denting the body or shaving off the black bar that sits lateral on the car. However, I also have seen some members on here saying they use raised exhaust mounts or extended bolts to make it fit. And no, I did not want any other exhaust. This is my most favorite exhaust and took me a couple of months to think about it. Give me some solutions on how I can make this exhaust fit without shaving or creating dents in the body.

(Have been searching the forums on similar topic)

I need help too. Just got the exhaust and facing the same problem. Exhaust tunnel is getting rubbed and sway bar is in the way. I got 79rs and my car is 2006 ap2 f22 usdm.

Would be cool to get a solution for mounting since I'm 30 min away to start hammering my car ))

What I did is use the oem "triangle" mounts in different configuration (depends on their rotation angle you can have them in different length) and played around with tensions and height: to have the exhaust properly suspended. Of course I had to "hammer-shape" the exhaust tunnel under the driver seat, that went really easy - obviously sprayed wurth rust stopper on the places of impact.
Then the only place that rubbed was the lower sway bar, which is only on 2006+ models to my knowledge. So I just used 3x3 mm washers and longer bolts to lower it but got it in place without any rubbing. Then zip tied the exhaust to one of the body pannels in the end to reduce the movement a little - worked like a charm. No dronning / rubbing Even on "track" driving. - worked like a charm with invidia TP and getting my flashpro tune on Friday - thanks for the help !!!

I had a custom lower tie bar made that has a relief for the exhaust piping so that I could hang the exhaust a little lower than normal and not worry about it contacting the piping. My exhaust isn't a J's but it's the same situation, and I didnt't want to beat up the fancy titanium exhaust.

Edit: Here is a picture from my Instagram. I have one of these on each of the cars. It was really only necessary for the AP2, but I went through the trouble of designing and having the bar produced so I run it on both cars.

That's pretty bro. Very nice, high end finish I'll ask my cnc friends to maybe check the dimensions/ stiffness too and produce something like that. Brilliant job!
