Yes, that is a standard cel fix. That is the common method for eliminating the cel. Berk has one permanently fixed to their test pipes.

Might be a very stupid question but does the brand or what not test pipes make a difference in sound?

No. It is just a metal pipe. It could if it was very thin, but most seem to use the same thickness. A resonated test pipe will be quiter, but that is because it is a resonator.

that extension is exactly what the spark plug nonfouler fix does. the only difference is instead of $15 its 2. you buy a pack of two nonfoulers use a 1/2" drill bit to put a whole through one and then make them into a spacer with the drilled nonfouler in back so that the o2 sensor will fit into it.

also satisfaction of diy

Order placed. Aem cold air intake and Berk test pipe. Anyone know the likely hood of the car passing smog with the intake exhaust, headers and test pipe would be? I'm located in Colorado. I gotta register and smog it still when I recieve the car this Thursday. I should probably get everything done first then install the intake and test pipe. Its just I dont want to wait . My sti with intake, exhaust, down pipe, uppipe, tuned and running e85 still passed smog here haha.

Something like this would work with the Invidia Test Pipe? Made from Blox

So after installing the test pipe. Seems like the end that connects to the mugen headers is a bit bigger then the headers is that normal? I forgot to take a picture.

And also at idle and or in any gear about 3k rpm to about 5000 or honestly any rpm but at deceleration it rattles. Is that suppose to happen? Or is something lose?

Sounds like you have a 70mm test pipe. Ideally you would match the inner diameter of the collector to the tp.
