J's Racing replica bumper w/o grille
Hey i just recently put my J's racing replica front bumper on inplace of the stock bumper and the stock bumpers grille does not fit the replica. I was looking at some of the aftermarket grilles because i have heard that it is not a wise decision to drive around grille-less due to rocks flying up, busting the condensor and knocking out your AC. This would be a very bad thing in my DD in the middle of summer.. in texas. When i looked at aftermarket grilles though, i searched up a little information and noticed that they tend to block off a good amount of air flow to the engine causing engine temps to rise and in some cases have the temp bar go up to 4 notches (i have an AP1)
So my question is, should i not worry about putting a grille on? Would i be fine with just leaving it alone? Or should i try to find a grille ASAP?
If i need a grille where is the best place to get one that does not restrict air flow? in this case im not too worried about looks. I just want something thats functional and still gives good airflow
thanks guys
