I just bought a J's racing thermostat off a member on here and after looking at it and looking at some pictures on the J's racing site they don't look the same. Not sure if J's racing ever changed their designed or whatever but if you own one and know what its suppose to look like can you please tell me if this one is one or not.

yep. the oem and the j's look pretty much identical except for that part.

if it's stamped 68, you're good to go. i don't think there's any J's stamps on the t-stat itself though. i know mine didn't have it.

 

what does the oem one have stamped on it?

 

72 or 74. i dont remember.
