Default Js Racing Type V Hood vs Mugen Hood

iam not sure if this has posted somewhere before...

just want to find out whats the diffrence between Js TYpe V hood and mugen hood.

they seem to be the same.

anyone?

the cutouts are the same size top to bottom on the J's racing hood, but on the Mugen hood, on the Mugen hood they get smaller as they get farther from the front bumper.

If you had them side by side you'll notice that they are both well made, but the mugen is superior. Mugen is also lighter and stronger.

Mugen does make a FRP version for around the $1800 range if I remember correctly. If you are just going for looks, probably good to get VIS or Seibon, because the fitment can be pretty good. However, they may be same weight or heavier than our OEM aluminum.

Words can not describe the quality of the Mugen hood. Had one for a while.. tempted to keep it in my room forever. Truly a piece of dry carbon art

Functionally, both hoods are the same.
