Default Judging Interest: Solid Wing Stands / Risers

I set up SW2 Tuning with the intention of investing some of the profits we make back into developing small (for now) new parts for our cars. One thing I've always noticed about the carbon fiber wings that many owners put on their cars is how the stands look. Most race cars with wings have stands that are solid with no holes, yet these wings all have triangular cutouts, presumably to shed a few grams. While I'm certainly a proponent of shaving every last pound from a race car, one must also consider both the aerodynamics of the wing for the track and the looks of it on a streetcar. That's why I came up with the idea of producing some solid stands for the Voltex wings, likely in the same dimensions as the current popular risers but without any triangular cutouts.

Here's what I mean by the cutouts:

One wing I've always loved without any cutouts, the Amuse:

ASM also has no cutouts:

A stand without cutouts also looks amazing when color matched:

So, my questions for the community:
1) Would anyone be interested in these being produced?
2) Around what would you pay for them?
3) What sizing would you like to see?
4) What wings besides Voltex and possibly APR would you like to see compatibility with?

Thanks!
- Sterling

It would be interesting to see if it made any difference in a wind tunnel. I'll just stick with the ones mine came with though since I drive on the street and track.

Since a lot of members have the CR wing with that god-aweful ugly OEM wing stand. Maybe you could make a direct replacement for that.

It's sounding like APR will be pursued first based on feedback in the Racing forum The CR wing would definitely be a possibility as well.

I'd be interested in something around 275mm tall. How thick will this be? I'd pay $50-$75...closer to $50 though

It might be more than that bud. If it isn't, cool. But I'd be willing [and thinking it might be closer to] pay 150-200.
