Just installed an exahust, Is this normal?
I just installed the T1R sparrow dual 70m last weekend. I took the car for a spin this week and the exhaust is loud pretty much all the time. I decided to check it for leaks. When I started the car up I noticed that water was dripping out of the joint where the mid pipe bolts to the Y-split which turns into the mufflers. Is that normal or is the exhaust not set correctly? All the bolts were torqued to 30lb/ft. I am wondering if I should go tighter?
All the gaskets were/are brand new. They aren't 100% flush because the gaskets are slightly bigger than the flanges were they meet I used a couple drops of exhaust goup (i forget what it was called) to keep the gaskets straight during the bolt on process.
I wouldn't think so. I did try to put my hand on it, didn't feel anything oddly enough. I just bought an HFC, I think I am going to retorque everything when I install it.

I'm only guessing, but there may be nothing wrong. Aftermarket exhausts are notorious for drone, especially in the 3-4k rpm range, and can be more than some people want to endure on a daily basis. The good news is that a HFC/test pipe will help alleviate the drone but the overall tone is going to be louder. As you mentioned, just double check everything when you put the HFC in and see what the results are afterward.
