I installed this a couple days ago and i got a check engine light...


I had a berk on my previous car and didnt get a light. I noticed the O2 bung on the Invidia is shorter than the berk

Is this why im getting the cell? Any ideas?
Should i pull the fuse to reset it?

Yes that is the reason you have a CEL. You need 1 or 2 spark plug anti foulers to plug into that bung and extend it. You can get them at any auto parts store.

 

i ordered the invidia test pipe with the cel fix on it, will get it monday and i will let you know what happens with it on my ap1

 

Take a guess whats going to happen. You wont get a CEL

The thread starter purchased the invidia without the CEL fix, thats why he is getting a CEL. All he needs is an anti-fouler to extend the 02 bung and problem solved.

 

i bought the invidia testpipe with the CEL fix and it still came on. so i just bought an anti-fouler and it worked great. cheap fix

 

Soo the TP i bought just has an O2 bung and not a cell fix?

How many anti foulers do i need to extend it? Do i need to drill em out or just screw em on? I think ive seen these and there not str8 through, they have alil hole, right?

All test pipes/cats have an 02 bung. Its for the 02 sensor which reads air/fuel mixtures. Your thinking of the right thing. Buy at least 2, only one might do the trick but some people needed at least 2. Theyre not expensive. And they just screw right on.

Mine came with the CEL fix just dont forget to reset the ECU after you install it and you shouldnt have any trouble

 

The first pic(the invidia) i posted is that cell fix or just a bung for the O2?

I rest my ecu and still got the cell..
Im working on drilling the anti fouler now
