Default K&n FIPK or powerchamber

I might buy an intake soon, and i would love to go with the password JDM intake but the fact that lots of people have had fitment issues and have to cut the hood or something bothers me. If ima pay 1k for a intake i should be perfect, but i also like the k&n fipk intake, for much less and a gurantee itll work. Should i risk the powerchamber or get k&n right now and save up for the powerchamber for later on when they fix more fitment problems.

Don't know what to tell you because that password is a lot of money and not sure it's worth the performance gain. That being said I just took a big gamble and ordered the Takeda Momentum. Not much info on it so I hope it works out. I was trying to decide between the K&N or CT before I stumbled upon the Takeda, time will tell.

Went with k&n FIPK because I've heard good things about it and it is not overly expensive. This cold air intake sounds great especially when you hit 5k. There's also a significant change in throttle response.

+1 for the fipk. Pair it with the aut cooling plate and you have a great setup for a reasonable price

Not sure it will help much at all. Pretty sure the way it is designed works better - unless Honda left it that way on purpose...

Better than spending over a grand on the PW intake for gaining only the ugliest intake in existence.

I'm speaking from experience - I have this setup and it works well. Cools down quickly after sitting stationary for a while, and feels great at higher speeds. You can really tell a difference in how the car pulls on the highway vs. stock.

I did a 4th gear pull with my buddy, both stock cars (except for my K&N). We were neck and neck until vtec, that's when I pulled on him. So yeah, I think it helps in certain situations.

Sorry meant the cooling plate, not the intake

Yea i wanted to choose between those before but the gains from the pw JDM compared to the rest is just amazing, id love to go with the ct intake but ive heard that people risk hydro lock with it.
