Kaaz lsd
hey since blowing my diff I cant seem to find the crown and pinion in Australia anywhere, so im looking into a 2nd hand diff or a kaaz 1.5.
Just wanted to know if the kaaz fits straight on without changing anything else because its the cheaper option atm compared to a use honda diff
cheers

I don't see how replacing the LSD will help you find ring & pinion gears. It's not really a valid comparison between a LSD and an entire diff pumpkin. Usually when diff goes, the bearing caps and housing are stretched/damaged. Most folks just replace the entire pumpkin assembly- with LSD, gears, etc. already installed, shimmed, and run in. The clutch type LSDs are generally noisy but better for "race" purposes, BTW.
But you will still need a new ring & pinion whether you replace the LSD or not. They are two separate parts (well 3 if you count ring & pinion gears as seperate parts). I believe that some confusion may lie in your perception of the term "diff". Sometimes people use it to describe the entire pumpkin assembly (for IRS) or the entire rear axle (for solid or live axle). But actually differential refers to the part inside the pumpkin which allows power to be distributed from a single input (driveshaft) to both left & right rear axles. The ring gear bolts onto the differential unit.
Just to be clear, when buying a Kaaz LSD, it does not come with ring & pinion gears or anything else besides the differential unit itself. I just don't understand your cost comparison for that reason. Unless you found a used LSD with ring & pinion incleded with the deal.
