Default Koyo Radiator

Been thinking about getting the Koyo radiator and was wondering if there are any major issues I need to be concerned about. Car is stock and I know about the radiator cap. I did the search and am doing it mainly doing it for the styling (looks) of the Koyo.

Thanks

Works great! Cheap, reduces temp drastically. OEM ish fit, better quality. Only problem I have is my J's rad cap came apart. acn't blame the rad though.

hear its bad if you don't need a reason for it because everything takes longer to get up to temp, besides that its suppose to be bulletproof

that doesn't make it bad, you just need to cruise for a little longer. it's nothing drastic though...i have the koyo too, and the j's thermostat and fan switch took MUCH longer to warm up.

had to remove them though cause the car would never break 2 bars unless i was sitting in traffic. on the freeway i was running at about 158 deg...too cold.

with the koyo only it's about perfect. freeway, 80 mph it's about 174

i have a cusco aftermarket rad. cap on mine. no problems at all.

it doesn't do a thing....but no problems at all

It's the Koyo specific cap. I had the stock style J's cap when I had a stock rad.
