Thanks, I ordered the relay. I restored the headlights last winter and upgraded to the JS2K bulbs at the front. I find it strange that I didn't get hyper flash with the front turn signals. As advertised they were plug and play. I hope the relay doesn't fix the back but break the front. The blubs light up at the back so I don't think I need to change the polarity. On the passenger side I must have bent the ground as it stopped lighting up. I will fix that.

Thanks for sharing. This thread helped me!

Got the relay and installed it. Works perfectly. For others there are tabs on the relay to release. Normally you just pull it out.

The relay is under the drivers side dash.

I did not need to change any wiring. Plug and play.

Default Pro Headlight Restoration

Can anyone share a place I can send my s2000 headlights to for pro restoration? They need to be opened to fix inside as well. Thanks!

I worked with Vision Auto Works to update the turn signal lens from amber to clear. They did a good job.

I had this issue of LEDs or regular bulbs not working after swapping them out and it’s the dumbest thing ever. It had me looking at relays and connectors wasting my time. The problem is the AP1 uses bayonet style turn signal bulbs and at the base of the bulb socket is a prong. The prong sticks up to make contact with the bottom of the bulb. When they get old and you remove them for replacement they can stick to the bottom. You can pry them up with a screwdriver or buy a new socket. I elected for new sockets because this prong didn’t cross my mind and I discovered this as I was swapping them out.
