Anyone one have some installed pics? Or at night to see what they look like?

I'm guessing these are pretty much just plug n play, right? No crazy wiring to be done?

I found another cheaper source.

I'm just wondering which one of the two is the brightest.

Yes, they are plug and play. If you know how to unscrew a lightbulb, you can install these.

i bought those for 17 shipped for a pair in purple for my car off ebay, and they are much much MUCH dimmer than stock, but give off a cool purple glow

if you want to buy the 9-led cubes, i think its cheapest here

only 13 dollars shipped for a pair

[QUOTE=Neutered Sputniks,Dec 17 2007, 12:24 PM]Takeshi, LEDs are uni-directional (this is why they're not used for headlights, the light difuses too quickly over the range headlights are used for).

It is possible to buy directional LEDs, but most LEDs picked up from Radio Shack are unidirectional.

To install an LED, all one would need is to know which wire in the light fixture is + and which is -, and the voltage supplied to the stock fixture.

[QUOTE=scottyb84,Jan 3 2008, 08:21 PM] Or, you can pay up the ass for a pre-made one to fit in the original bulb socket.

LED's are not bright enough.

Just put in the Polarg hyper white bulbs and you'll have the color + brightness.

Well I don't think that's entirely true, the ones Shadowz posted are actually really bright and a great step up from stock.
