Default Led light bars?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has put a led light bar on their s2k or maybe some cubes as fog lights? If so pics very welcome. Just an idea I have been thinking about over the last few days.

I would not do the big LED off-road bar, the beam pattern sends light in a wide direction which is bad for on-coming traffic, and probably not helpful in an actual fog situation. They may work well in off-road situations but who does that in an S2000 ?. I've seen some on mini's , if that is the look that you want then I guess that is the only way to do it. It would probably take up most of our front grills, reducing air flow into the rad.

I've got LED lights that I use as daytime running lights, with a 45 degree beam pattern they give off some stray light. I don't think any of the smaller LED lights put out any type of light that is overly useful, the larger bars certainly put out a ton of light but it would be very scattered and not helpful in an actual fog condition. Certainly okay in dark and secluded wide-open road conditions where you don't have on-coming traffic.

I have a pair of 18w wides and a 72w spot on my Accord (I daily drive through switchbacks and frequent foul weather). They are both mounted to the front bumper cover with washers underneath for stability. The 18w wides are relayed to my parking lights so I can run them as DRLs without low beams, and the 72w spot is relayed to the high beams so they all come on together. I'm glad I have them (used to run Hella 500s) and plan to mount a similar setup to our CR-V for the same reasons. The wides are okay to run 24/7 (no brighter than a regular headlight to oncoming traffic, and California allows 4 lights simultaneously, as on many factory cars).

The beam pattern for the spot is reasonably tight in width, but it is still SUPER wide in height. So it's NOT good for fog. It just blasts right back into your eyes. However it's awesome outside of fog. Like cranking up your own little sun. I suppose you could mount the bar vertically instead of horizontally, and get a lot of width while limiting the height of the pattern, but it might look funny mounted (although ANY light bar looks funny on an Accord already!). Or perhaps it's possible to individually rotate the lenses inside the bar to alter the beam.

Anyway, of course this will look funny on an S2000, but they are effective, and IMO the S2000's stock headlights suck ass for mountain driving so I've often wondered if I could rig some sort of temporary soft-mount to the edge of the hood for a light bar just to get some light around the switchbacks.
