Wink LEDs for a Brighter Interior

While I may be a vendor, I am also a consumer, and I use all the products I sell, so here's my review.

I bought these LEDs from China, where everything else is made. These have the brightest LEDs that are readily available (excluding experimental or absurdly expensive). I compared these to a friend's JDM LED bulbs, and they're much brighter, and they're much cheaper. The LEDs in his were 2 'LED sizes' smaller than mine, and even though there were more small LEDs, they weren't nearly as bright. Plus his cost more than double! I can't imagine how much money they make...

Anyways, installation was super easy, just use a screwdriver to pop off the dome / map lights, remove the old bulbs, and insert the new ones. One thing I had forgotten about was the polarity of the LEDs. If you put them in one way, and they don't light up, they'll work when you flip them around.
The trunk has a plastic mesh that you can use your hand to pop off.
And the License Plate lights are held on by 2 Philips head screwdrivers. Then pop off the harness, and remove the bulb. There's lots of grease, probably to keep the moisture out, so have a rag handy.

Excuse the messy trunk, it was the only pic I had.

Also, since Mina's bumper isn't a stock bumper, it may be good to note that most bumpers won't have that ugly gap lit up. I'm going to put something black there, so it's not as unsightly.

Appearance: Not only is the light output much greater, the color of the bulb is much more pleasing to the eye. It's a pure white with no tinges of yellow, orange, or blue.

Normal bulbs' output is around 10 watts for each dome light, the replacement LEDs are .72 watts from 1 dome light. No need to worry about leaving lights on accidentally.

And just for fun, here are one's just for Mina's car. They said they were pink, but they're more purplish. I've gotten pretty good at discerning shades of pink now.

As you can probably tell from the pictures, the pink/purple LEDs are much dimmer than the white ones, and probably just a bit dimmer than stock, but the light output isn't useful since everything shows up pink/purple! She loves them, so they'll stay in.

I put a set of LEDs in the Fit as well, and they're equally as bright. Now I can actually see stuff inside the cabin and trunk. And since there are two bulbs for the license plate on the Fit, it looks awesome. They really complete the look with the JDM LED tail lights.
Pics to come tonight.

nice interior LEDs but WAY too bright for me----it takes a while to restore your night vision after you look at bright lights and the brighter they are, the longer it takes.
I went with LEDs somewhere in between your stock and "after" pictures in brightness--plenty bright to see anything I need to see inside the car when my eyes are adjusted to the dark.

Mine probably aren't bright enought to impress my friends but that's not why I installed them.....

I love mine since it's much brighter than the dull stock yellowish tint and it makes finding things in the car so much easier. for a great product and vendor.

Good point! Usually when I'm looking for something, I'll only turn on 1 dome light, which is already brighter than both dome lights on.
But I really like seeing my interior light up when I unlock the car.
