Default left side drive to right side drive

did any one ever try to convert their s2000 over to a right hand drivers side car. i want to do this conversion but dont know if there is a kit for it and how costly it might be im looking for any input if possible but i think it would be sick driveing down the road in the wrong seat. If any one knows a web site or be able to tell me how difficult it may be i would apreshiate it. MY SPELLING SUCKS YAY LOL thank you for taking interest

This probably isn't the best idea. There is a reason why we sit on the left side of the car stateside... it's because we drive on the right hand side of the road, so we need to sit on the left for visibility during turns.

Aside from that, converting a car to drive on the other side, is ridiculously costly and whats it buy you? You'll be shifting with your left hand, you'll be all disoriented most likely, and you run a higher risk of getting into an accident.

My advice... save the thousands and thousands of dollars and put it into aesthetics and performance. It will pay off far more than converting your car to RHD.

Good luck

^^^^ !!! but if this is a daily driver and if it is not registered as a show car then you should read the !!! b/c in some states it is not street legal. so cops could give u a really hard time.

but that would look bad ass!! but very costly and time consuming.

That's "soo JDM it hurts". If you've got it that bad to have a RHD car in the US, buy an old Subaru Outback from the United States Postal Service -- they're soo JDM it hurts (well it's easier to deliver the mail that way).

You would be better off selling your S and importing a RHD S2000.

I've never heard of any such complaints from people I know who have owned RHD vehicles. Still, I don't see the point in converting from LHD to RHD.

I just helped on a RHD conversion to a delsol it really was not that bad. If you have a RHD front clip you can cut the firewalls out of both fronts and switch them.

I wouldnt cut up my car but if you want RHD that bad it can be done with some skilled welding and about $2k
