Default License Plate LED's

I was looking around on SuperBrightLEDS and I see many options for the bulb type, I read a thread on here awhile back about the same thing but some were not impressed with the light pattern coming out of them. Has anyone found one that has a good spread of light? If so I would like to see some pics. I am just picky

Joey can help you out with his leds specifically for license plates.

I used the single large LED's from superbrightleds.com They were either 1 or 3Watt and they have 180 degree coverage and are the color of a fluorescent light bulb and light up the entire plate well.

WLED-WHP LED Wedge Base Bulbs

High Power - Pure White 194/168 wedge base bulb
This bulb has 1 High Power LED which is about as bright as the 6-LED bulb seen above
At 4500K, the Color Temperature is between Warm White and Cool White

My bro had some 5 angle white LED's that he put behind his MR2's cluster and had a few left over, so I put one in for my license plate and it looks awesome. It illuminates the entire plate very nicely.

I bought one of the tubes from the superled website. Mounted the brackets with body filler and presto!
