Unhappy light weight flywheels

Any help on:

clutch- so far I am hearing OEM

lightweight flywheel - I understand it, but I am new to Honda S2000 and don't know if its worth it. I bought the car used, its 2004, it needs a new clutch. Can anybody tell me there experience and what they have?

Well AP2's have a really heavy flywheel. A popular mod is to put an AP1 flywheel in an AP2. AP1 is like 13 lbs or something I think and AP2 around 20 or so. Can't remember the exact weight but definitely a lot lighter going with an AP1.

a lot of ap2 owners switch to the ap1 flywheel as it is lighter(18lbs vs 14lbs) but i have no experience w/ aftermarket.

I don't think flywheels make any noise...At least never have for me. A clutch might chatter though so maybe that's what your hearing..

i added a fidanza 8lbs flywheel to an ACT stage 2 clutch. makes stop and go driving a pita, however going through the gears is so much better. my ap1 however isnt a daily, if yours is i would go with OEM ap1, just my .02

anyone using the act streetlite flywheel that could give there two cents, just kinda curious if its worth the weight savings from an ap1 flywheel to the streetlite flywheel
