Default Lite spec Ti owners please chime in!

hey guys i have been trying to find a good exhaust, ive already had a greddy tic single exit. also a T1r 70mm v3 single. i have been looking at the lite spec ti exhaust. the car is my daily. i like the looks of this exhaust, and ti is a plus. super light weight. How is the drone compared to these two exhausts that i have mentioned here? is the drone like invidia loud? or on the same level as greddy and t1r. thanks in advance.

Litespec, K&N, Comptech header.

It drones at normal revs. I don't think I'd want it if it was a daily, but for weekend usage, it's a lot of fun. Install was easy and it truly is LIGHT.

I'd never daily with a 70mm single made completely out of titanium. You can't possibly get any louder than that.

Plm header, 70mm tp, and litespec here. Sound is incredible but extremely loud. This is my toy car so not really an issue. With converter and silencer in should be fine for daily. Exhaust is super light and quality is excellent.

i have been driving the litespec on a daily basis since I got it in Nov 2010. Its not really that bad. I do have a testpipe. Its pretty loud on cold startup but once it warms up, its really quiet at idle. On the freeway if you are cruising there isn't any drone. Going up-hill however is a different story. Other than that, acceleration noise is controllable. You can't beat the lightweight of the exhaust.

isnt titanium like the loudest exhaust..

if you want a quiet exhaust then you should try stainless

I had the LiteSpec combo'd with a 70mm T1R test pipe, there was slight drones at normal RPMS'. The level, the loudness of the sound was comparable to my T1R Sparrow 70mm's. I decided to stick with my T1R's because I found the pitch/sound of my duals over the LiteSpec. It is much louder than I expected, but at VTEC the Litespec has a pretty good sound according to my peers.
