Default looking for blue mirror covers...

Like topic says... I want to purchase the spoon blue mirror covers, but do not wanna pay the $150 price for these! I have seen a different brand, and i believe they sell for $60. Does anybody know what i am talking about? I would like to say they are NRG's or actually.... I'm not sure. HELP!

where are you seeing the spoon convex mirrors for $150? should be closer to $100

anyway, the ones you are referring to are itg - made by one of the site sponsors importtuninggarage.com

i have a set of the itg's and they are very nice. the spoon ones are definitely a darker blue if that matters at all to you.

I believe its for people who have their high beams on.
The blue tint isnt as bright as a regular mirror would be.
I proved it tonight after installing them, i had some guy in a truck with his high beams on blinding me thru the rear view mirror.
Nothing thru the sides

they do not stand out at all. most people don't even notice that i have blue convex mirrors (again i have the itg).

the spoon are more noticeable. if you've ever noticed how german cars have blue mirrors, the spoons have the same effect.

two ways to install:
easy way:
double tape the mirrors on. the itg come with double sided tape.

cleaner install:
you need to take off the mirror housing. it clips right off. start by moving your mirrors all the way out and all the way down. then you can use your fingers at the top of the mirrors to unclip them.

at this point you will have the black mirror housing and your mirrors. you need to heat them up either by using a blow dryer, or holding the mirrors in boiling water for a few minutes.

after you have it heated, the mirror separates from the housing. i used pliers to help pry it off. the driver's side mirror has some adhesive on the back of it.

the mirrors go right into the housing. i used some of the double sided tape itg provided just to ensure the mirrors wouldn't move.

the housings pop right back into the side mirrors, you just need to clip the bottom part in first then follow with the top.

be careful when you are dealing with these mirrors as you don't want to cut yourself or break the mirror.
