Lowering. Does it ruin handling? I'm talking around 30mm

if you are lowered on a good suspension it should improve handling!

Short answer is.. If you use springs to lower then yes. The stock shocks are valved for a certain ride height to work at the max performance. However, if you aren't tracking the car extensively then you will probably never notice. The stock S suspension is supposed to be the best thing short of 1500 dollar + coil overs you can have.

If you are okay with a smaller drop, Koni yellows on second perch should be a 12-13mm drop (1/2 inch)

Yeah it was more for the look. But I do plan to track once or twice a year.
Maybe more
So, I don't wanna look for just springs, I need to look at full shocks. That = £££££££
Maybe il just leave it be.
I'm fed up with this guy at work saying it looks like a 4x4

Ha I think some quality springs help the car handle while also lowering the car. I have espelir springs on mine right now and the car seems to be more balanced, but I do have coilovers coming in the mail lol

coilovers are the way to go if you want to do it right and have flexibility with ride height and stiffness.

No S should look like a 4x4.

I'm on Neuspeed springs, and have been for over 2 years or more now. I DD mine, and i still love the handling. Coilovers will come one day, but the stock shocks are great and take it well..

im running swift sports which are awesome quality springs and drop the ride height about 30-40mm and a lot of race teams in japan use Swift coils.

I ran Eibach's on mine for a few years, excellent ride quality and lowers the car "enough". Like others, I am now running coilovers.

There's nothing wrong with using lowering springs, just know you'll eventually want coils, it depends if you want to pay now, or pay later.
