Default Lug nuts

Hey guys I recently just order new wheels and I'm looking for new lugs nuts. I got a set of matte black rpf1s. Now I am looking for matte black lug nuts. I have found 2 sets so far and they seem to be open ended. Now my car is my daily driver. Is there a downfall to open ended lug nuts vs closed ended ones? I found a pair off eBay for 50 bucks and evs tuning ones for 110. Last questions, if I was to get open ended lug nuts will the hub studs get rusty looking?

unless you have extended studs it doesn't matter open or closed. I wouldn't use ebay lug nuts, but thats just me. Never seen a stud rust under normal conditions before

I run the ebay open ended aluminum ones my advice is buy 2 sets cos you the threads get tore up..
I just throw them away and put a new one on

they are so soft you will never break a stud against them

I have some EVS lugs too and they are def great quality. I've had some R40's snap on me from the base...so far no problems with the EVS.

IIRC, the EVS lugs are made by Rays from Japan...
