Default Megan exhaust

Hello, I know this has probably been done a million times, but I just spent 3 hours looking for something so simple and cant find it.

Before I spend more money (made a mistake with the greddy ti-c dual, lost me 6whp) does the megan single 2.5 give gains over stock, if so how much typically.

some cars gain and some dont! 10whp is not gonna that noticable on the street! U want power then get an ems first, and u'll see the gains just from that.

youre mainly looking at weight loss...are you planning on getting a header + testpipe? if so, then you get gains.

You can feel some gains on the Megan single on the butt dyno especially with a test pipe. You save about 35+lbs and some nice throttle response.

sucks that the gains come at the expense of sound. i'd like getting gains but the oem is nice and quiet...

Yea if i did it i would be changing the header and cat > testpipe too.

Thats an idea, I might get a megan header + testpipe with my greddy ti-c and see what happens.

U wanna see gains from a Cat-back ??.. then spend some money and get the T1R Single or J's Single, Dont get the cheap shit then complain about lose of power..

I have The T1R-70EM from evasive, with a Testpipe.. I raced my firends S2k, he got a CAI and i put 2 car lengths on him..

No dyno numbers sorry..

P.S. i'd stay away from megan anything, stick with T1R or J's

Thats all good but I find it hard to justify $1000+ for a header, $1000+ for a exhaust for something like 10whp.

Ask how much a supercharger conversion would cost....and the equivalent gains.

Why are these parts so expensive, i dont get it.
