megan racing coilover settings?
I have the megan racing street coilovers on the s right now. I put them on at the end of the summer last year and never messed around with adjusting the stiffness or softness. The car rides way to stiff, I had the car in the shop for a few days getting a turbo swap and my mechanic agreed that the car was way to stiff and turned like crap. I plan on messing with the setting tomorrow but was wondering what every bodies specs were on their megans? It'd atleast be a good start for me.
Please don't ruin the thread by saying it's the coilovers and I should get different ones. There has been plenty of positive feedback on them and I'm sure there will be a day where I will upgrade to something else, but for now the megans are what I'm using.

Every car is different; what do you hope to accomplish by copying somebody else's setup?
Perhaps your spring rates are too stiff. That's probably a good place to start if you're looking for blind advice. Changing the dampening settings on your coilovers isn't going to make a huge impact on ride "quality."

i have the same setup
twist them all the way left til they stop "clicking," this is the softest setting 1/32 settings
If you aren't racing your setup I would say run 6 clicks up in back and 8 in front
I race my setup on mountain roads often and run 12 in back and 16 in front, too stiff and it won't adjust to bumps in the road,
For a track day you can nearly max them out provided the surface is perfectly smooth.

how is the ride? i had megan streets on my 240 too but i would never buy them again. great for price but not the greatest for dd. i'm sure the spring rates are different but...
i had mine on softest for a while and it was just too soft. i increased to 4 clicks up and back and it was a little better. then i increased to 6 and then to 8 and then lastly went upto 10/8. i think somewhere around 6-8 was good but i say do what i did and start at softest and drive around for a while and gradually increase to see what you like.
