Default Mild Exhaust Options?

So I just picked up a 2000 S and love it. I am looking for a little sound and searching options. Frankly it seems there is a lot out there, so I need some help. Here is what I am looking for:

No Rasp! Like the sound when the cat is removed for a test pipe, I dont like it! Like a CB750 with no can... Not my cup of tea.

No Drone! This is a weekend car, so no bassy echoes in the car.

Only sound is a concern. Power would be nice, but I am not bothered if I dont gain any power.

Need dual exhaust, not looking for single exit.

So far, the only thing I heard that even sounds decent is the UK exhaust mod. It seems to have a european V6 H6 sound on the bottom and just sounds like all honda on the top.

Any other suggestions?

Nothing much in the way of aftermarket exhausts is going to provide you with no drone and no rasp along the entire power band. I would suggest doing the UK exhaust mod first, as it is relatively inexpensive compared to purchasing an aftermarket exhaust. If the UK exhaust mod doesn't get you the sound level that you want, then start looking into aftermarket alternatives.

I've owned quite a few and the sound is subjective.
Personally the HKS Hi-Power with the stock cat was fairly tame. Add a test pipe and it really wakes up while still keeping the drone to a minimum.

Otherwise, you might be looking at buying a higher end exhaust to get the sound you want.

I had the comptech. It was deep and throaty, probably a little louder than stock. During normal cruising, it was unnoticeable.

Mugen. I have it one - it's delightful but zip for power gains.

Mugen... still regret selling mine, no power gains but the sound is perfect for a street car.

Depends on your budget, mugen is definitely good and tanabe is another exhaust thats on the quieter side. If money is an issue, invidia q300 is good sounding with no raspy sounds and little drone
