Mishimoto radiator and oem fan problem / issue
So i get my radiator and it iOS very well packaged and looks perfect
I go to install and the holes for one of my fans is very off like 5 mm. I bent the tabs just a bit but I don't want to bend it anyone
Anyone have this problem before?

yeah i had bad experience with their radiator too. my first one was like that so i ship it back and got another one. The second one was even worst. one of the mounting point was bent badly and another point was off too so i give up on them and got my money back. Bought a stock one instead. Sorry i couldn't help.
Mine fit like a glove. You can see, in my pic, that the brackets are mounted below the weld line across the rad where yours are on top of it. Rather than bending the tabs on the rad, try flexing the whole fan shroud. It is only plastic after all. If that doesn't work, remove the little metal spacers from the bolt holes.
I got this from gt motoring. This issue isn't their fault either. I ending bending it a bit more and got it in. The radiator is thicker so the wiring is more taught.
What did everyone do for the drain plug. The stupid oring on the bottom ccame apart after I unscrewed it. I put another one on and its the same. I am worried it will leak
Should I just switch to a crush washer?

Oh and I just remembered you should probably flush the new rad out with a hose before you install it into the car. The Mishimoto rad I put in my Prelude had a huge wad of buffing pad in it. It would have sucked to have that crap circulating through the engine.
Mine needed a little modification of the tabs too. I think I ended up shaving a little bit of the plastic off the fans too.
Teflon tape on the temp sensor should do the trick. I'd still add a redundant O-ring/plug gasket as an extra precaution.

I flushed it first along with my hoses. Man the hoses are such a tough job. Ill be ordering a new fan switch as I think mine is bad. Takes forever to turn on. 3 minutes of revving and it still won't come on. Comes on then turns off right away
