Default Moddiction Shift Knob Question

I know this is a super simple installation, but the knob came with two nuts and a washer and I'm just not quite sure how the hardware works to make the shift knob tight. I searched but didn't find anything, so I figured this was the best place to ask. Thanks in advance!

The lock nuts go on the shift knob thread in order to properly align the engraving pattern.

I got a knob without the gear pattern so aligning isn't my concern, I just am confused as to how the hardware is supposed to be used to lock the knob, that's all.

With the Moddiction shift knob, does it sit lower than the stock shift knob?

If the knob is countersunk, yes it does.

if the knob isn't engraved put the locknuts as low as they go then put the lockwasher on top and screw down the knob. You could probably get away with one nut if you want the knob as low as possible.

Just screw it all the way on with no locknuts.

Yeah those are included in case you want to raise the height of the shift knob up higher. If you have a non engraved knob and want it to sit at the lowest height just screw the shift knob on without any nuts or washer.
And yes all of our shift knobs are fully countersunk so they will all sit a lot lower than the stock shift knob and all stainless are much heavier as well!
