Default Modifry Windscreen Mount

So I got the modifry windscreen mount about a week before my first track day. I go through tech and they tell me that the camera still had to be attached to the car so that if it fell off it wouldn't fly out. A shoe string worked for the day but i fixed it to look a lot nicer as well as be easier to remove in between runs. Let me know what you think.

Good idea, but I don't see how it adds any safety to the situation. I'd rather have it fall out of the car than disconnect from the mount and be hitting me upside my head and neck due to the strap.

Scratch on my helmet or anything else in the car...not that bad. Camera hitting anything on the exterior of the car behind me... could get expensive quickly. Tying it down was not optional. This was simply to make it easier.
