Default mooncraft 'remix' ht

I saw on bulletproofautomotive.com that they offer the mooncraft ht that doesnt require a rollcage. has anyone bought this ht yet? what were shipping costs like? ive also heard mixed answers on if the trunk will still open with this ht on without taking off the rear section. is it a quality made piece?

mmmm others have the regular spoon and the shine but the difference in the remix version is the extra windows on the side. From what I see from other spoon owners, you'll have to take off the rear hatch to open the trunk.

supposedly the other versions required you to have a roll cage but this one doesnt. i was wondering how secure it was. i did see that the remix version has the extra windows, i really like that.

yeah i dont see myself how the trunk would be opened without removing the rear section. i just didnt know if there were gas shocks or something to where the rear section would open kinda like a hatch back.

I'm pretty sure none of them required a roll cage.

if you go to the regular versions it does say that it requires a roll cage. you can check it out on bulletproofautomotive. they have both versions.

The infamous "Mooncraft" hardtop as seen on various S2000 race cars. Production version is shown on all white S2000 photos. A roll cage is not required for installation.

So do you have to rip out all the soft top to run this hard top and if you do how to clean the interior looks back up?

you can keep your soft top or take it out for weight savings.
