I was wondering to see what are the few options to gain a bit of power on these cars around 20HPs nothing major. and also as far as stock set up whats the highest octane we can use on these cars ? 100 octane ? E85 ? thanks. and also what are the legit shops with fair prices ? thanks.

U can use 110 if u get tuned for it. So even e85 would benefit u once u get tuned.

For 20hp you can do the header, test pipe, exhaust, and intake deal. Watch out though cause you will drop big bucks on NA mods without much gains.

I dont think they are good enough! I would go with 550's of bigger just to have plenty of duty cycle.

stock injectors are not good enough for E85. but get a good intake, and exhaust.

parts on a budget.
plm header - 400
greddy tic single - 650
70mm test pipe - 120
greddy emanage used - 400
aem v2 intake - 275

around 1800ish. but you will gain alot of midrange and good peak power with a good tune.

honestly a s2000 is a lot like an e36 M3. The best way to go fast with out spending a ton of money is to put the car on a diet and re-gear it. drop some 4.33's in it and lose a 100 lbs you will be flyin.

most of what i listed is new, except the emanage. you could get everything for about 1100-1200 used.
