Default mugen glass rear window.

i bought a mugen replica top about a month ago, it came with a plexi/ lexan rear window but i want to bypass that and just go with a tempered glass rear window. any idea where i can get one of these that fits right, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

just go to an auto glass shop and tell them to cut a glass that fit exactly like the lexan you have.

If only that would work. It is curved and needs to have a mold made for them I believe. At least that is what I was told.

If anyone finds a place let me know! I definitely want a glass rear window. Lexan gets covered in scratches instantly.

Well of course there is octane Motorsport that asks 500 for the window but also doesn't respond to email

i strongly advise against glass windows. polycarbonate is the way to go on these. besides, you can get 3-4 polycarbonate windows for the price of one glass window. you might go thru the glass window before you would scratch a polycarb window.

i have though about doing this, but the thing is that the mugen has a slight curvature to it and im not sure they would be able to make that and if they did they would probably charge and exorbitant amount of money for a "Custom" job. but worth a try none the less
