Default Mugen hardtop rear window fitment

Hey guys! So I recently purchased a legit Mugen hardtop. I am having some serious issues trying to get the rear glass to fit correctly into the hardtop. It seems as if the window/gasket is a tad to big for the hardtop itself. Yes I have looked at the thread on how to install the hardtop and I did use the string provided, and followed directions that were provided in the thread. Did any of you guys have this same issue? Should I consider getting the glass cut a little smaller, or am I just doing something wrong.. thanks for the help.

Do you have the MUGEN lexan or Ballade glass window? I've seen someone install a Ballade glass window into a MUGEN FRP hardtop/seal. The seal will be too tight and lift up at the top/bottom, a window installer can shave the seal and make it sit flat. Installing the Ballade glass window/seal won't have this issue, but the MUGEN seal is probably better.
