Default mugen header

I am just wondering if it will fit. I am planning on buying a used one of somebody. Is 30k miles on it too high?, and what kind of price should i be asking for.

It will fit, but it is designed for the F20C not the F22C and you won't see any gains.

I'm not sure about not seeing "any" gains. I talked to a local tuner and he said yes you will lose horsepower when you put an AP1 mugen header onto an AP2, compared with putting an AP2 mugen header on an AP2. Still, 99% of drivers won't notice the tiny loss of horse power. Plus, I bet that AP1 header is pretty cheap compared to an AP2 mugen header. You will still make more horse power than stock, plus the weight savings is considerable. Unless you're awesome driver and need to shave off .01 seconds off your track time an AP1 mugen will be fine on an AP2.

If it were my choice, and it isn't, I wouldn't spend that much money on a part that is designed for the wrong engine. Don't put too much faith in the aftermarket effect. Just 'cause it's new doesn't mean better than stock.

i wouldnt recommend it...even if the ap1 mugen header was a good deal.
better off saving for a ap2 mugen header...or if your on a budget get the berks header.

I would go for a no-name-brand AP2 header way before a Mugen AP1 header.

I could not in good conscious put a 'performance' part on my car KNOWING it would take horsepower away. I don't care what the brand is, or how cheap I could get it.

Doesn't seem logical dude!

Lol, I was wondering the same thing before. There is no conclusive evidence to any of the speculation (ie. no dyno plots). Here's my previous thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...&#entry17980291

I answered. It will fit.
