My cousin gave me a mugen replica intake, but im missing the part that holds the filter? anybody have any ideas where I could get one or what i can possible do to make the intake work?

the oem filter is almost exactly the same. maybe you can try using it instead? Do you even have the filter which is supposed to come with it?

You might be able to use small clamps to clamp the filter to the CF intake. You know like tiny vice grips or something.

It normally uses this V band type ring which bolts to an aluminum velocity stack, is a PTA to adjust and get to seal correctly. I dread filter changes. lol

 

I only have the carbon intake box itself, no filter. I can get an assortment of filters, my problem is getting the filter to seal around the chamber.

 

just cut out a rubber circle to the diameter of the filter and sandwhich it between the filter and the CF

 

what should i use to sandwhich the filter to the air box? who makes a big enough vband type clamp?

 

Hello.I have the same problem.i have the air intake but i dont have the v-clamp.Do anyone know the size of the clamp and said me where i can buy one?I am from greece and i have search here but i canot find anything.
