Depends on the part, lol. I love the Mugen hardtop and hate the Spoon hardtop, but I love the Spoon front bumper and hate the Mugen front bumper. The list goes on.

As a whole, Mugen's quality of work, materials, research, etc. is second to none. Their parts fit as well as or better than OEM, and are subject to a wide barrage of tests. They build F1 cars -- that should tell you about the level of quality and dedication that goes into their parts.

Spoon tests their stuff mainly the old-fashioned way (on a track) - not that there's anything wrong with that at all. But I've had Spoon parts that were not very well made, and some of their parts are just a joke (like their valve cover, which is just an OEM valve cover that they powdercoat yellow - over the red - and charge $400-500).

If you got the $, you can't go wrong with either one.

mugen and spoon each have their share of good/bad parts, as others have mentioned. but mugen is just a little more awesome.

I went Spoon, simply because it seemed more hardcore. To me at least.
