Default Mugen VS Js Racing intake

I have done my research, but I couldn't find any dyno plots for these 2 intakes. Anyone know which one is better in terms of hp gain, mid/top end power..etc? since the designs of these 2 intakes are different, i am assuming they don't work the same way?!

Dynos will probably not show any gains or very small ones these intakes are designed to work at speed, not when sitting still on a dyno

J's should offer more throttle response (due to its design), but I would say they will be pretty similiar, J's is cheaper and will eat up more debris than the Mugen

Tell me about it. I had to clean out my intake every other week. That thing collects more dirt and rocks than my J's diffuser.

We can do a test with a car with stock intake and other leading brands and post our results on the site. We have 2 high velocity fans. We need a stock car and a few other intakes to try. Same car, same day, same tank of fuel and proper cool down in between runs.. Cant get more accurate then that.

All the Best,
Max-

The J's racing intake should technically be more effective, as its air intake seems to have better placement in the grill IMO.

We can do it anytime we are not tuning a car.
