Default my version of CAI...

oem bumper + cutout + 1/2 passwords cf intake = my version of CAI...

i have read and researched all the vairous CAI options out there... i have concluded that any gains would be negligible. sound and looks are more a personal preference. previously had the k&n fipk& the aut cooling plate.

in short....

- i started with what i liked about the j's racing bumper, but wanted a more oem look and feel.
- custom cutout of my bumper (while it was getting painted)
- removed the k&n and aut cooling plate
- added k&n drop in filter
- modded the oem air box and reinstalled the oem airguide
- purchased the cf to oem intake from password

in theory - air flow would come from in front of the radiator... once moving air flow would come in through the cutout and bounce of the oem airguide and directed into the password intake.

may not be the best... but i think i achieved some function out of the look i wanted.

thanks.. just prefer my S without a lip... imo they tend to look like an after thought - adding not needed lines.... if i ever add a lip, i would have to smooth out any seams.
