www.hardtopguy.com sells all the hardware you need to install the hardtop as a kit. Its a lot more than just side catchers. Probably going to be a little more than you think

you should do fine with the side catchers only, the extras are wiring for defogger, and strikers for MY00 if i'm not mistaken, the original side brushes can be left alone and should work with your hardtop, but compatible ones are cheap, so I would buy them as well.

Your going to need the strikers, i bought mine new and didn't install
the strikers. After a month mine started to rattle. I installed the strikers,
problem solved.

I ran into this problem too, although I was worried because I heard the newer AP2s already have the hardtop strikers. I installed my hardtop without using the supplied strikers and also within a month it started rattling. I still didn't install them yet because I was a bit lazy. I took some scraps of insulation and stuck them in the "hook" area of the latches and that made it tighter. When I have some time, I'll do it the right way.

I live in Fayetteville NC, I just bought the installation hit from hardtop guy. The side catchers were $400 dollars and the install kit was $500. So I went ahead and forked out the extra 100 bucks.

Here is a pic of it right now pre hardtop: I should have a new one this week of it with the change.
