I didn't even bother getting a tip, as I didn't want to get an aggressive look, which saved me from a "fix it ticket" bout a month back. I was thinking of getting a tip like the ones T1R have on their +1k exhausts. I painted it flat black to hide it make it look like a stock exhaust to someone that has no knowledge of an s2k cough "cops."

hmm if your in so-cal maybe I could meet you somewhere and you could hear this in person before this would greatly aid you, as videos do no justice for any exhaust.

hey snowmoto do you know which magnaflow number your muffler is?? i'm looking at the 14834 and 14835.

was also looking at this one: http://vibrantperformance.com/catalog/prod...&products_id=10

any opinions? the 14835 is the "race series" and the 14834 is "street" but it looks exactly the same with a different tip. i feel that the magnaflows might be pretty loud, but i am not sure.

i kind of like the vibrant one, but theres no real reviews out there either.
To be honest with you I am really not certain which canister they installed in my car other than the fact that is is a Magnaflow with a 3 inch inlet. Also they used a type of steel which is kinda brownish? My car is pretty quiet when at idle, then opens up when I give it gas which is what adds the to stockish theme I was going for. I would only assume that the street version would be a little quieter than the race version.

I remember the guy at the shop showing me that same exact muffler but I had never heard of es tuning ; so I decided to play it safe with the Magnaflow

i saw the es tuning ones blue, but i never heard of it either. i also found the megan, but i dont really like the tip design. i'm thinking of getting the magnaflow 14834 with a vibrant resonator. i'm praying its not too loud haha

just gona have them widen the pipe before welding to them since its 3 inch for both.

anyone know the size of the oem resonator??

the vibrant resonator is:
Resonator Size: 4.5" x 6.75" Oval Body, 10" Long and 3" diameter

i am looking at the magnaflow 12219:
Inlet/Outlet Size: 3in./3in.
Body Shape: 5in.x8in. Oval
Core Size: 3in.
Body Length: 14in.

and the es tuning is unknown in size

i'm not sure what will fit down there though. i'm pretty sure the vibrant will, but the magnaflow is kinda long compared to the vibrant. the es tuning is unknown in size, but is a 70mm muffler vs the other 3 inch ones.

i already ordered the magnaflow muffler with tip for the end, but i'm going for quiet so i still need a resonator/another muffler any opinions?
